Zeynep’s career in risk management and compliance started in 2006 while working for the Risk & Assurance Team of PricewaterhouseCoopers Istanbul, Turkey. Later, in 2009, she joined Generali Turkey to build up the Internal Control, Risk Management, and Compliance functions of the Company. Between 2012-2014, she undertook a similar position in Assicurazioni Generali’s Head Office in Italy, working as a Senior Risk Analyst, with a focus on risk analysis and Solvency II implementation process of Generali Group. The end of 2014 Zeynep took up a new challenge as Head of Risk Management and Internal Control in ERGO Turkey. She is certified by CRMA (Certification in Risk Management Assurance) and gave lectures at the Insurance Academy of Istanbul University. Between 2016 - 2020 she completed her Ph.D. studies with her thesis on financial deepening and managed many projects on risk management, protection gap, financial deepening, climate change, E.S.G., DeFi, DLT, and effects of disruptive technologies on financial institutions' value chains with her own consultancy company Aiza Consulting (www.aizaconsulting.com) in Germany. Now, she is the director of risk management, compliance and sustainability functions in Insha Ventures and mentoring start-up companies in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Turkey.Zeynep writes monthly articles for popular financial portals and monthly sector inserts. As Group Chief Economist for Swiss Re, Jérôme is responsible for the economic and insurance market research. He is also the managing editor for the sigma series. Jérôme leads the global research teams located in Zurich, Armonk, Bangalore, Beijing and Hong Kong and provides macro and interest rate forecasts and associated consulting services for the Group. He steers the scenario analysis and group plan projections while leading efforts on contributing to a sound global financial market architecture and making the world more resilient. Jérôme serves as Co-Chair of the World Bank's Global Infrastructure Facility (GIF) Advisory Council. He is particularly active in external committees at the Institute of International Finance and the WEF and participates in roundtable discussions with policymakers; this to strengthen the positive dual role of the insurance sector as a long-term investor and risk absorber.
